According to the Alvin Police Department, officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 10:29 p.m. on April 2, 2026, reporting a shooting along State Highway 35. When police arrived at the 3100 block, they discovered Siddiqui in the back seat of a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite emergency medical efforts, he was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
