Brandon Lee Madden Obituary: Pocatello Resident Killed in Power County Shooting
POWER COUNTY, Idaho — The Power County community is mourning the tragic loss of Brandon Lee Madden, 40, of Pocatello, who was fatally shot on Tank Farm Road on Friday, April 3, 2026. Madden and fellow Pocatello resident Amanda Ann Christian, 36, lost their lives in the incident. Authorities have confirmed that next of kin have been notified.
Bannock County Coroner Torey Danner expressed condolences, stating, “My heart goes out to the families involved and the Power County community affected by this tragedy.”
The Power County Sheriff’s Office is leading the homicide investigation, with support from the Idaho State Police and Bannock County Coroner’s Office. A separate officer-involved shooting connected to the case is under investigation by the Idaho Falls Police Department.
