Dominic Farago North Ridgeville OH Obituary – Kent State Student Passes Away Unexpectedly

The North Ridgeville, Ohio, and Kent State University communities are mourning the sudden loss of Dominic Joseph Farago, a 22-year-old student who passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 3, 2026. Known for his academic and athletic excellence, Dominic left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Born on December 20, 2003, in Cleveland, Dominic excelled in academics and athletics at North Ridgeville High School, earning honors in football, basketball, and track. His dedication continued at Kent State University, where he pursued a degree in Business and Entrepreneurial Marketing, demonstrating the same ambition and creativity that marked his earlier years.

Dominic is remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson, and friend, survived by his parents Joseph and Maria Farago, brothers Vincent and Marco, grandparents Sharan Farago, Joe Farago (Karen), Sharon Weitzman (Skip), and an extended family of cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was also a devoted godfather and a loving partner to Hannah.

Friends and family will gather to honor Dominic at Bogner Family Funeral Home on Thursday, April 9, from 4-8 PM. A private prayer service will be held Friday morning, followed by a public Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville on Friday, April 10, at 10 AM.

Though his life was tragically short, Dominic Farago’s legacy of kindness, dedication, and joy will continue to inspire those who knew him.
