Coroner Identifies Victims of Pocatello Shooting in Power County

POCATELLO, Idaho — The Bannock County Coroner’s Office, working alongside the Power County Coroner and Power County Sheriff’s Office, has confirmed the identities of two victims killed in the April 3, 2026 shooting on Tank Farm Road in Power County.

The victims have been identified as:

  • Brandon Lee Madden, 40, of Pocatello
  • Amanda Ann Christian, 36, of Pocatello

Next of kin for both decedents has been notified, authorities said.

Bannock County Coroner Torey Danner expressed condolences, stating, “My heart goes out to the families involved and the Power County community affected by this tragedy.”

Authorities also confirmed that a third decedent, involved in an officer‑involved shooting related to the incident, will be released once next of kin is notified.

This tragic event has shaken both the Pocatello and Power County communities. Further investigation is ongoing as law enforcement continues to piece together the circumstances surrounding the shootings.
