Five in Custody Within Minutes After Parkway Village Shooting

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — In a swift law enforcement response on Monday afternoon, five individuals were taken into custody within minutes after a reported shooting on Southbridge Street in Parkway Village.

Officers were dispatched to the 3200 block of Southbridge Street following multiple reports of gunfire. Investigators later located the shooting victim — a man — at the 4000 block of Camelot Lane, where he was found with critical injuries and rushed to a nearby hospital.

Thanks to a quick identification of the suspect vehicle, officers were able to track the car to the intersection of Creighton Avenue and Crighton Cove. A traffic stop was made, leading to the arrest of all five suspects just minutes after the initial call. One female briefly fled into a nearby residence but was apprehended shortly afterward.

The suspects, ranging in age from a 17‑year‑old to early‑20s adults, now face multiple charges — including attempted second‑degree murder and firearm offenses — as authorities continue the investigation.
